Does it hurt?
Obviously there is some pain with the IPL or rather a slight burning feeling with electrolysis, but generally speaking it is very slight and certainly not unbearable. Of course pain thresholds do vary, but the vast majority of clients find it quite acceptable.

How many treatments will I need?
Because everyone is different, it's difficult to say the exact duration of the treatment. It depends on the size of the hair, how often you are willing to come in for treatments and possibly other factors such as hormone and medication you may be currently using. Generally though it only take a few treatments of the hair follicle to render it incapable of hair production.

Are there side effects from laser/electrolysis treatments?
Reactions vary depending on a number of factors, including age, ethenicity, skin type and medication you may be taking. Typically, immediately after the procedure you may notice your skin is slightly reddened and it may be a little sore. We offer suggestions for treatments that suit your skin type.

How can you find out more?
I have always offered a free consultation service where you can come in and ask whatever questions you want and experience a little of the treatment to set your mind at rest. But one thing I would like to point out is that many people are very embarrassed about facial hair and can find it difficult to call in or make an appointment. There really is no need to be distressed at all as a simple course of treatment will take the problem away permanently.
